“I’ll always be glued to you, my Moon”

image

I’ll always be glued to you,
In the winters of my life
When I long for the warmth
In the wilderness of the mountains
That we see in the spring
In the falling of the leaves
When the autumn takes us away
In the falling of the skies
In the day
In the darkness of the night
Yesterday I was glued to you
Today I am glued to you
And if I live to see the winters again
I’ll be glued to you
Such are you
The solace of my life
The peace of my eyes
My oceans, my skies
To you it lies
In such a way
I am glued to you
And today I set you free
To shine in your glory
And be happy with the stars that are yours
And I’ll find solace in your smile among those stars
And I’ll be but I’ll not
Yet ages later
When you glorify the skies again,
I’ll still be there
Glued to my Moon
As the most passionate admirer and lover
And eternity can’t defy that
And even if you don’t look back
One promise is all I seek
Keep smiling the way you always do
And I promise
That I’ll not ask anything ever
Just be my Moon
And I’ll be glued to you always.
